Dear Friends,

 

Last week the dairy industry lost one of the greatest icons of our business, Mr. Jim Leprino. Not just one of the most successful entrepreneurs in all things dairy but a true man of men. I was privileged to know Jim through my father, Don Spaulding.  In the 70’s they were both key suppliers to Pizza Hut, Jim the Cheese King and Don the Mushroom guy.  As for me, I had the unbelievable opportunity to represent Leprino Foods beginning in 2005 and Jim always treated me with kindness and respect. He will be truly missed by his family, his Leprino Foods family, and everyone he reached with his knowledge and great company.Rest in peace Mr. Leprino, "please call me Jim", and say hello to my dad for me.
